Rusty Miller Surf

Personalised surf coaching sessions with well-known and respected local surfer, Rusty Miller and his daughter, Taylor. Exclusive license for teaching ‘one-on-one’ at Wategos Beach, at the tip of Cape Byron Headland, Australia’s most easterly point, and also at the iconic surfing beach, The Pass. A former surf Champion, Rusty moved to Byron Bay in 1970 and is Byron Bay’s original surfing teacher. He was also first to surf Uluwatu, Bali, which was filmed for cult Australian surf film, Morning of the Earth. At Rusty Miller Surf, you learn about surf culture, the magic of connecting with nature through surfing and harmonising with the energy of the ocean. Rusty and Taylor will accompany and study you in the surf and pass on their knowledge and expertise to advance and enhance your surf skill.
